Counsellors play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals navigating life's challenges.
We are seeking an experienced Counsellor Therapist to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
About the Role:
The Counselling Primary Care service is a short-term intervention aimed at addressing emotional and psychological distress. Our team works closely with medical card holders aged 18 and over, providing a safe and confidential space for them to explore their concerns.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a Level 7 qualification in a human science discipline or health-related profession. Additionally, you should have either a degree or post-graduate qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, or a related field recognised by IACP or ICP, or full accredited membership with IACP or ICP.
You will also require two years of relevant post-qualification experience and a strong understanding of the principles and practices of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for this position, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
