A Junior Service Advisor is great opportunity to train in customer service in the automotive service industry for large motor group. Service Advisors act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department. A Full Clean drivers licence is required for this role. Role & Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greeting customers and assisting them with their service needs. Answering customer inquiries regarding products and services. Scheduling service appointments and follow-ups. Service Recommendations: Assessing customer vehicle issues or service needs by gathering information from customers and technicians. Recommending necessary services, such as oil changes, tire rotations, or brake inspections, based on vehicle condition or manufacturer guidelines. Documentation: Creating work orders and maintaining accurate service records for each customer. Managing customer files, ensuring all relevant information (vehicle history, service history, warranties) is up to date. Communicating with Technicians: Acting as a liaison between the customer and the service technicians to ensure proper service execution. Updating customers on the progress of their vehicle service or repair, including any unexpected issues or delays. Estimating Costs: Providing customers with service estimates and helping them understand pricing. Getting approval for repairs and parts before service begins. Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring a positive customer experience by addressing complaints, answering questions, and providing solutions. Skills Required: Customer Service Skills: Strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone. Ability to handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction. Attention to Detail: Accuracy in documenting service information, parts required, and customer preferences. Organization: Managing appointments and keeping track of customer needs efficiently. Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of vehicle systems and services can be helpful, but not always required at the junior level. Problem Solving: Ability to provide solutions to customers and resolve service-related issues.
