We are recruiting for a Housing Liaison Worker to join our Short Term Housing programme in Glasgow. The role provides a link between private property owners and tenants, with the goal of ending homelessness by offering access to privately rented properties.
The successful candidate will ensure a high-quality, customer-focused housing management service within their individual property portfolio, promoting effective customer liaison and tenant participation.
Part-time hours will be considered, minimum 21 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop positive, respectful relationships with individuals supported by the service, focusing on their strengths and aspirations.
* Maintain professional integrity with colleagues and external agencies.
* Assess and progress all referrals made to the service in line with service specification.
* Engage with landlords and letting agents in property management, ensuring compliance with legal, health, and safety standards.
* Manage occupancy levels through efficient allocation and void management of properties.
* Liaise with external agencies as required, including Community Homeless Teams, Housing Benefit teams, and local authorities.
* Arrange tenancy support for individuals to meet contractual requirements and individual needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
\
We would ideally like to hear from applicants with experience working in a housing or social care environment. Evidence of continued professional development or a related qualification would be beneficial.
Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle for business purposes is required, with insurance covering domestic and business use.

Benefits

The post holder will report to a Housing Team Lead and through them to the Housing Services Manager.
Normal working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm.
