People & Culture Business Partner AvocaThe successful role holder is responsible for providing a comprehensive and commercially focussed People & Culture Service across the Avoca portfolio. This role will report directly to the Head of HR Operations Aramark Food Services and Avoca and will work alongside Avoca management & support functions at all levels across Avoca Ireland in the delivery of best practice People & Culture Solutions which support Avoca in its growth agenda and achieving its KPI's.Scope of the Role:This role is responsible for the provision of an Operational & Strategic People & Culture services and deployment of programs and projects across Avoca in a collaborative manner to our 1,000 colleagues across our 13 stores, Mill, Central Distribution, Central Production and our support functions based in our Head Office in KilmacanogueThe role will have responsibility for the management of a HR Co-ordinator and a L&D SpecialistThe role is also supported by the wider Parent Company Aramark HR team regarding ER & Reward.Key Responsibilities:Drive the Avoca culture as we strive to achieve our growth agenda.Drive employee engagement to improve employee satisfaction, understanding of job role and responsibilities, teamwork within a customer focused working environment.Proactively develop the People skills of Avoca through coaching and training.Support and drive the talent management system to support succession needs & Goal setting programs & agenda'sPartner with the business to identify People & Culture solutions to help achieve targeted business outcomes.Lead and Support in the execution of People & Culture programs and take responsibility to lead key corporate programs to positively impact the organisational culture.Support DEI and ERG initiatives through partnership with management to develop inclusive and cohesive teams.Support and drive organisational and business restructures, providing best practice guidance and solutions based off Company requirements.Support ER processes from Appeal stage on complex issues.Provide input and guidance to ER team when required in relation to complex ER cases and WRC submissions etcAttend WRC hearing to present case with IBEC on behalf of Avoca.Technical Knowledge and Key AttributesMinimum 5 Years of experience in People & Culture /HR field within retail or hospitality or another service sector, ideally within a multisite fast paced environment.Experience of Service NOW, SAP success factors and good Microsoft operational skills.Career driven with evidence of continued CPD and min. Graduate CIPD qualification.Good working knowledge of employment law in Ireland.Evidence of having implemented HR programs and projects across HR including but not limited to leadership and talent management, training, systems, and engagementAbility to deal in high volume work and to operate to tight deadlinesExcellent communication skill with unquestionable integrityA full clean drivers' licence will be required for this role and flexibility to travel within Ireland on occasionsBenefits:HybridHols 23 days per yearBonus 10%PensionStaff DiscountNote: Due to the nature of the business additional duties may be assigned from time to time.
