OverviewFounded in 1981, our client started as a traditional electrical contracting business and has expanded over the years into a multi-service provider. Its main areas of expertise include electrical contracting, security solutions, solar pv installation and renewable energy solutions.Due to continued growth they are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor (Electrical) for their expanding team in Louth. This role will involve managing all commercial aspects of electrical projects from tender stage through to final account, working closely with project and site teams.ResponsibilitiesPreparing and analysing tender documentation and pricing electrical worksAssisting with project planning and cost forecastingManaging procurement of materials, plant, and subcontractorsMonitoring project costs, budgets, and cash flowPreparing valuations, variations, and final accountsSite Co-ordination and liaising with project managers, engineers, clients, and suppliersAttending site meetings and carrying out site visits, with some remote working from sites requiredEnsuring projects are delivered within agreed commercial parameters and sign off, final account and handoverRequirementsExperience in a Quantity Surveying role within the electrical or M&E sectorStrong understanding of electrical installations and project cost managementExcellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and negotiation skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating/QS softwareFull driving licenceIf this Quantity Surveyor job in Louth is of interest to you apply now or contact David Smith at Collins McNicholas Recruitment to learn more.
