Our client is an expanding and forward-thinking practice headquartered in Galway. They are currently in search of a Practice Accountant to join their team. The ideal Practice Accountant should possess experience in Management Accounting. This represents an exciting and fresh opportunity within the firm, and it calls for a proactive, self-driven individual with exceptional organizational and technical skills.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts that are not audited.
* Assist clients in establishing financial control systems and ensure compliance with company secretarial requirements.
* Provide guidance to clients in adopting best practices through technology to enhance efficiency and facilitate growth.
* Gain proficiency in various accounting software programs (Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to recommend suitable packages and tools to clients.
* Contribute to the firm’s accounting technology strategy and oversee the implementation of new accounting solutions.
* Manage internal administrative tasks, including timesheets and invoicing.
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant or Accounting Technician.
* Minimum 2 Years Local Practice experience.
* Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, MicroPay, Surf, Receipt Bank, QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.
Benefits & Salary:
* Competitive salary range: €50,000 – €65,000.
