Job Title: Project Director
This is a high-profile construction project where you will oversee the entire development process, from planning and design to execution and delivery. Your role will involve coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning & Execution:
You will be responsible for developing and implementing project plans, managing timelines, budgets, and resources. This will involve coordinating with designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Team Management:
You will lead a team of professionals, including project managers, engineers, and technicians. Your role will involve motivating and directing your team to achieve project goals, providing guidance and support, and fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.
* Quality & Compliance:
You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects meet the required quality and compliance standards. This will involve conducting regular site visits, monitoring progress, and identifying any potential issues or risks.
* Communication & Coordination:
You will liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned with project developments. Your role will involve facilitating regular meetings, resolving conflicts, and negotiating agreements.
* Project Close-Out & Reporting:
You will be responsible for managing the close-out process, including finalizing accounts, documenting lessons learned, and reporting to stakeholders. Your role will involve ensuring that all projects are properly documented, and that lessons learned are captured and applied to future projects.
To succeed in this role, you will need a relevant degree in construction management or a related field, plus at least 6 years of experience in a similar position. You must have excellent leadership skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
