Accounts Payable Specialist
A high-volume environment awaits a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to update and pay supplier invoices, and prepare monthly purchase ledger reports. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an experienced Accounting Technician or Accounts Admin looking to join a dynamic organization.
This role involves
* Posting large volumes of purchase invoices
* Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy
* Processing payments via Bacs and online systems
* Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing period-end processes and ensuring ledgers agree with nominal ledgers.
We are seeking an individual with excellent organizational skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts Payable: Posting of purchase invoices, reconciling supplier statements, processing payments, and liaising with suppliers
* Accounts Receivable: Posting of cash receipts, raising and posting manual sales invoices, and liaising with customers
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger
* IATI qualification (desirable)
* Previous experience in accounting software, particularly Excel
