DeltaV Engineer:
A client of mine is seeking an experienced DeltaV Engineer to support one of its major pharmaceutical clients on a key automation project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-profile site with cutting-edge DeltaV systems in a GMP-regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute DeltaV software and firmware updates across servers, controllers, and workstations.
Perform configuration backups, system validation, and post-update testing to ensure system integrity.
Review and update control modules, phases, and operator graphics as required.
Ensure strict compliance with GxP and site change control procedures.
Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities.
Document all system changes and prepare detailed technical reports.
Collaborate closely with process engineering, IT, and MES (e.g., Syncade) teams to maintain system integration and data flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues during and after updates.
Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems.
Background in pharmaceutical or other GxP-regulated industries preferred.
Solid understanding of automation system lifecycle management.
Experience with FAT/SAT, system validation, and documentation under GMP standards.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts (5 days day shift / 5 days night shift) on-site.
