Stock Assistant Job Description
The role of a Stock Assistant is to manage stock at point of use by utilizing scanning systems to requisition stock and working to maintain strict replenishment schedules.
* Work in Point of Use as required, managing stock levels and performing tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Line Manager.
* Operate in Goods Inwards as needed, unloading deliveries and distributing cages.
* Use Barcode scanning system to reserve stock efficiently.
* Maintain inventory storage systems for optimal organization.
* Participate in regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
* Utilize ICT Procurement Systems (Punch-out and SAP) to enhance service delivery.
* Assist Line Manager with duties and complete tasks assigned.
* Implement new systems and cooperate with the introduction of new technology and practices.
* Extensive use of Microsoft Office applications.
* Evaluate deadlines and maintain service levels consistently.
Requirements and Qualifications
* SAP experience preferred.
Working Conditions
Monday to Friday, standard business hours.
Compensation Package
Hourly rate: €19.47.
