Engineers on this team will work with many popular vendor and open-source technologies, internally developed applications and cloud native services. You will be challenged to provide technical and thought leadership and to succeed in this role, you need to be eager to learn, able tPrimary Responsibilities:Define and develop solutions to enforce least privilege access policiesImplement and manage access controls, including role-based access control (RBAC)Monitoring, logging, and analyzing system performance using Azure operations suite to maintain system health and optimize costsDevelop and implement disaster recovery and data backup strategies and solutions to maintain business continuityCollaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD pipelines for efficient software deployment using Azure servicesEstablish and maintain cloud identity governance frameworksDevelop and maintain guardrails to enforce/measure IAM cloud compliance with regulatory requirementsConduct periodic access reviews and monitor user activityLead cloud migration and modernization initiativesAdvise on best practices for cloud security, reliability, and scalabilityDrive innovation and discovery efforts around new Azure features and servicesParticipates in the development of prototypes and large-scale proof of conceptsMaintain knowledgeable around current application security controlsYou will be rewarded and recognised for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role, as well as providing development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant subject OR equivalent experienceExperience as a security-focused DevOpsHands-on experience deploying and operating resources in Azure and AWSUnderstanding of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) and experience working with CI/CD technologies such as git and TerraformHands-on experience in Entra ID and Entra Connect SyncHands-on experience developing and managing Organization policiesHands-on experience with federation technologies and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, etc.Proven experience operating with cloud platforms, APIs and event-driven automationProficient with popular scripting and programming language frameworks such as Python, Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK, Microsoft Graph API, Shell Scripting languagesPreferred Qualifications:Working experience in AWS Identity and Access Management, multi-factor authentication, user provisioning, service principal governance/management, privileged Identity management (PIM), single sign-on (SSO), domain managementWorking experience with Cloud IAM functionality across multiple public cloud services (IAM Roles, Permissions and Policies)Experience Implementing and managing Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM) to meet organizational access and security objectivesHold a fundamental understanding of PHI/PII data and the restrictions around it using limited data sets/de-identified data for analysis/development and testing where applicableCertifications: CompTIA Security+, Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security (Specialty), CCSP or similarSoft SkillsPassionate about innovation and enjoys the challenges of creating something newTechnical and thought leadership skills and ability to collaborate with others to successfully deliver on large, complex initiativesWritten and verbal communication skillsPlease note you must currently be eligible to work and remain indefinitely without any restrictions in the country to which you are making an application.
