The role
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Specialist with veterinary expertise to support the commercial growth of our B2B manufacturing business.
This is an on-site technical-commercial role, responsible for driving sales through distributors and partners, while also acting in a clinical and technical advisor. You will play a key role in translating scientific knowledge into commercially relevant value propositions, supporting both customer acquisition and long-term account development.
Key Responsibilities
1. B2B Sales & Business Development

Manage and grow relationships with international distributors and key accounts
Identify new business opportunities across target markets
Lead discussions from initial engagement through to onboarding
Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and product positioning
Deliver revenue growth aligned to company targets

2. Technical Sales Support

Act as a technical expert for customers on product formulations, applications, and use cases
Deliver product training and onboarding for distributor and field teams
Support customer queries with clear, evidence-based responses
Translate technical data into clear, commercially usable messaging

3. Distributor & Customer Engagement

Build strong, long-term relationships with B2B partners
Support distributors in market development, including:
Product training
Positioning and messaging
Field support in key meetings
Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer visits

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a key interface between Sales, Product Development, Regulatory, and Marketing
Provide market feedback to support product innovation and pipeline development
Contribute to product launch strategies and commercial roll-out plans

5. Product & Market Development

Identify market needs and gaps to inform new product concepts
Support development and positioning of new formulations
Contribute to building clinical narratives and technical documentation

Candidate Profile
Essential

Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or related field
Proven experience in a technical sales or commercial role within animal health / veterinary / nutraceutical / feed sector
Strong understanding of B2B sales models (distributors, private label, manufacturing partnerships)
Ability to confidently engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders
Strong communication skills – able to simplify complex scientific information

Desirable

Experience working with veterinary supplements, pet nutrition, or feed additives
International sales experience and exposure to multi-market distribution
Knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks for feed or animal health products
Experience in training delivery (e.g. CPD, distributor training sessions)
