Role Overview The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organising, and delivering events that elevate Failte Solar's brand presence across Ireland, the UK, and Italy .
This includes trade shows, product launches, installer training events, roadshows, corporate meetings, and partner events .
The ideal candidate is highly organised, creative, and capable of managing multiple events end-to-end while coordinating with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities Event Planning Strategy Develop and execute an annual event calendar for Ireland, the UK, and Italy.
Plan events end-to-end: concept, budgeting, logistics, promotion, and delivery.
Identify strategic event opportunities that strengthen brand awareness and support business goals.
Conduct venue sourcing, vendor negotiations, and contract management.
Event Execution Oversee all event logistics, including venue setup, equipment, branding, staffing, catering, and audio/visual requirements.
Manage booth design, event materials, product displays, and branded merchandise.
Ensure all events meet brand guidelines and deliver a consistent Failte Solar experience.
Travel to all events across target regions to supervise execution.
Marketing Promotion Work with the marketing team to create event marketing campaigns (email, social, PPC).
Coordinate with sales teams to drive attendance and generate leads.
Manage attendee registration platforms, communication, and follow-up workflows.
Stakeholder Management Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Technical, Operations) for smooth event delivery.
Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, associations, and event organizers.
Act as the main point of contact during event execution.
Measurement Reporting Track KPIs: attendance, leads generated, event ROI, customer engagement.
Provide post-event reports with insights and recommendations.
Maintain budget accuracy and cost control across all events.
Required Skills Qualifications 3-5+ years of event management experience, ideally in renewables, technology, or B2B environments .
Strong project management and multitasking ability.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Experience organising events across multiple countries (preferred).
Proficiency in event management software and digital marketing tools.
Ability to travel frequently across Ireland, the UK, and Italy.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications Background in the renewable energy sector or technical B2B industries.
Experience with trade shows, product demonstrations, and technical training events.
Italian language skills (advantage, not required).
