Account Executive – Portfolio Cisco – Dublin, Ireland (Customer‑centric, results‑driven sales role).
Your Impact We are looking for an experienced Account Executive to lead engagement with key customers in Ireland.
The customer base includes the largest customers in the country, half of which are aligned to Financial Services and Banking.
The primary responsibility is to achieve sales targets by supporting Enterprise customers' evolving business and technology strategies, ensuring their success through tailored solutions and propositions.
Collaboration with extended sales teams and partners is essential to address customers' biggest challenges and drive growth across all accounts.
In this multifaceted role, you will Focus on an outstanding customer experience and become their trusted advisor.
Develop and maintain CXO relationships across both IT & other lines of business.
Own, develop, and lead the Cisco Enterprise Ireland Business Plan.
Plan and implement your sales strategy to meet the agreed achievements and timescales.
Work alongside a supportive and capable extended sales team across numerous client projects.
Collaborate with the Cisco Partner team to drive strategy and delivery of new solutions and incremental revenue.
Anticipate changes in opportunities, market, client needs and requirements that could impact overall revenue targets.
Deliver accurate business metrics, monthly forecasts, weekly commits and pipeline development reports.
Minimum Qualifications8+ years of experience as an account manager, executive or field sales role within the technology sector.
Experienced in leading complex sales cycles and handling multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Track record of growing market share and competitor displacement.
Consultancy‑led selling experience and customer‑first approach.
Solid understanding of Cisco's portfolio and services capabilities and/or competitor knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications Deep sector knowledge in Financial Services.
Experience working with SI's and consultancy houses to determine optimal outcomes for joint customers.
Strong technical and business interest/knowledge to understand customers' business drivers and how technology plays a meaningful role.
Negotiation skills with a Win/Win philosophy in dealings with peers, partners and customers.
