Interim Senior Finance Manager, Contract, 1 day onsite Dublin city centre
Barden are delighted to be engaged with an innovative Group to help identify a Senior Finance Manager to join their Finance team. This role is a 10 month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave. The role is based in Dublin city centre but the Group are operating a very hybrid working policy with 1 day onsite a week expected.
The position represents a pivotal role within the department, whereby strong technical and communication skills form an implicit requirement. The position involves interaction with senior personnel within the Group both locally and in other jurisdictions. Someone who will work well in a fast‑paced environment and who will work well and support our team and the business.
THE ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Director, this position is the heartbeat of finance — owning the general ledger, driving accurate journal entries and reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with both US GAAP and local reporting standards.
* Take ownership of month‑end close across multiple international markets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
* Present financial insights and variance analysis to senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
* Lead statutory audits across several countries while driving strong relationships with auditors.
* Coach and develop a high‑performing team, building your leadership and people management skills.
* Shape the future of finance by strengthening controls and spearheading process improvements across international operations.
ABOUT THE PERSON
* Qualified Accountant (Big 4/Top 10 trained) with 8+ years of post‑qualification experience in a complex, multinational, or practice environment.
* Experience within international or PLC environments is highly beneficial.
* Experience managing a team.
* Knowledge of U.S GAAP and SOX controls.
* Highly organised and detail‑focused, you combine technical strength with excellent communication and leadership skills, and you thrive in fast‑paced, change‑driven environments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Adept at providing practical, strategic solutions in complex scenarios.
