Job description My client, a leading meat supplier based in Galway, is seeking to hire a Line Leader to join their team in Galway.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a team of 15+ people and will have direct responsibility for achieving performance metrics and strict compliance with food safety regulations.
Responsibilities: Leading and helping other team members in the production department.
Meet production targets.
Will be required to work across all areas of the meat processing plant.
Performing daily visual inspections, Quality checks as defined by departmental procedures and instructions.
Adhering to food safety standards Compiling documentation.
Making sure machines are working and organising tasks like making, packing, and sorting products.
Solving any problems or disagreements in the team.
Checking how well team members are doing their jobs.
Watching over daily work to make sure everything gets done on time.
Checking that everyone follows safety rules.
Requirements: People management experience Food production experience.
Other Details: Standard working week up to 40 hours Competitive and progression of rates Training in English language skills and company operating procedures will be provided.
