About the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially-minded Finance professional to lead a prominent city-centre hotel. The role requires strategic planning, financial management, and strong leadership skills.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in hospitality finance or be a qualified accountant from a small or medium-sized practice looking to transition into a fast-paced operational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end finance function of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow.
* Provide financial leadership and insight to support the hotels operational and commercial strategy.
* Maintain robust internal controls, compliance with accounting standards, and group policies.
* Work closely with the General Manager and heads of department to manage costs, optimise revenues, and drive profitability.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CPA)
* Experience in hospitality finance or a strong background in accounting
* Strong technical accounting skills and business acumen
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
