About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SoC Lead Engineer / Architect to lead the architecture and front‑end development of advanced low‑power, high‑performance SoCs for cutting‑edge consumer devices. This is a senior hands‑on leadership role where you will drive SoC architecture, RTL design, IP integration, and collaboration across verification, FPGA, validation, and physical design teams.
Responsibilities
Lead SoC architecture and microarchitecture development for complex digital systems
Own front‑end design flow from specification through RTL implementation
Drive low‑power design strategies and SoC power management
Integrate internal and third‑party IP into complete SoC solutions
Collaborate with verification and FPGA teams on debug and validation
Support silicon bring‑up and system‑level debugging activities
Work closely with backend/physical design teams to achieve timing, area, and power targets
Apply methodologies including CDC, lint, formal verification, UPF, MBIST, and DFT
Develop automation and workflow improvements using Python, Perl, or TCL
Qualifications
Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
12+ years’ experience in SoC architecture and digital IC design
Required Skills
Deep understanding of low‑power SoC methodologies and front‑end design flows
Experience leading complex SoC/IP development programs
Strong debugging and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
Tape‑out experience in advanced process nodes (TSMC 12nm or below / Samsung 8nm or below)
Experience with Synopsys or Cadence IP integration
Knowledge of SRAM integration, DFT, and MBIST architectures
Familiarity with advanced packaging technologies including WLCSP and FCCSP
Experience in fast‑paced or startup environments
