The Role
We are looking to recruit Graduate Engineers to join our Energy, Utilities and Renewables design team. The successful candidates will join an established team with senior support and will have the opportunity to acquire a broad range of skills and experience across different areas of the business. The role will provide essential engineering, communications and project delivery skills that are transferable across any engineering project.
Responsibilities
Assist senior engineers with designing new electrical systems or components for various applications.
Conduct tests on electrical equipment and systems to ensure they meet safety and performance standards, analyse test data and troubleshoot any problems.
Support the engineering team with project management tasks such as preparing reports, creating schedules and assisting with cost estimates.
Work on designing and implementing control systems.
Contribute to projects involving power generation, transmission or distribution systems.
Participate in the development and implementation of renewable energy technologies.
Implement and comply with environmental, health and safety programmes.
Manage contractors.
Qualifications
Engineering degree (Hons Bachelor degree or higher) in Electrical, Energy Systems or a similar discipline relevant to the specification.
0–2 years post‑graduate experience.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Good academic record.
Full, clean driving licence and own transport required.
Fluent written and spoken English essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
