**Job Title:** Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team. As an On-Site Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to our semiconductor customer base, ensuring fulfilment of all product lifecycle commitments, and maintaining compliance with the terms outlined in service contracts and agreements.
This role involves supporting HIS equipment across a range of applications at dedicated customer sites, in accordance with the scope defined by service or sales agreements. Key responsibilities include:
* Adhering to customer and company safety protocols for both self and team members
* Installing, maintaining, and servicing third-party components integrated into HIS systems
* Collaborating with customers, engineering teams, and colleagues to ensure customer requirements and deadlines are met
* Applying effective troubleshooting methodologies to resolve complex technical issues
* Conducting customer training sessions on HIS or other equipment
* Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs)
* Communicating clearly and concisely regarding customer requests, completed tasks, and required changes
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A technical certificate or degree in an Electro/Mechanical or Chemical discipline, or equivalent experience in relevant technical fields
* 4+ years of experience in an engineering service environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry
* A positive attitude, strong willingness to learn, and commitment to excellence
* Excellent customer interfacing and communication skills, as well as PC skills to enable equipment and service management systems
