Job Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of projects from budgeting to final accounts, ensuring financial compliance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Validate tender with Project Manager/Director post-award
* Assist in preparing project CCS and cash flow forecasts
* Compile monthly reports per company standards
* Conduct site measures and ensure timely submission of claims
* Address contract costs, sales, and contribution concerns
* Attend commercial and subcontractor meetings
* Draft pre- and post-contract correspondence with PM
* Manage client invoicing and payments to subcontractors
* Liaise with the Financial Department on reporting
* Resolve disputes with clients and subcontractors
* Monitor site procurement and reporting
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical/Electrical Building Services
* 1-2 Years experience in a similar role
* Good knowledge of Electrical or Mechanical packages
* Experience working on Data Centre/Pharmaceutical projects would be advantageous
* The successful Quantity Surveyor must be based in Ireland or the UK
