* We seek an experienced Automation and Digital Leader to drive our site's growth and innovation through strategic decision-making, people management, and stakeholder engagement.
* The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams in strategic management roles with experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and business development.
* This role requires defining and executing the continuous investment plan to ensure our site remains at the forefront of automation and digital technologies.
* As a leader, you will oversee a talented automation team, providing guidance, prioritization, and direction while ensuring continued innovation and improvement throughout the site.
* Key responsibilities include developing site automation obsolescence and upgrade strategies, executing the continuous investment plan, and providing technical support for problem-solving and investigation activities.
* You will also be responsible for system ownership, initiating and leading continuous improvement programs and projects, tendering and appointing contractors, and staying current on industry developments in instrumentation, control technology, and digital opportunities.
* A degree in Engineering, experience in delivering capital projects, and at least 5 years' experience in people management in an FMCH or GMP compliant environment are required.
