What You’ll Be Doing...
Leading Contract Management activities across sourcing categories, managing the contract lifecycle for India, International, and US teams within agreed SLAs, and mitigating operational & legal risks on supplier engagements within sourcing policies. This position reports to the Associate Director and collaborates closely with Sourcing Managers and Contract Managers to ensure responsibilities are met.
The Contract Manager's primary responsibilities include expertise in negotiation and administration of complex contracts, managing legal documents, establishing and maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring contract close-outs, extensions, or renewals, and providing issue resolution related to contracts. You will guide the Customer Service Executives (CSE) for contract execution and manage stakeholder engagement with US contract management directors, CSEs, and business teams.
Contract Manager Specific Responsibilities
* Support and guide the team on strategic sourcing projects, prioritizing projects within the region through regular stakeholder communication.
* Manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance and resolving operational issues like quality, delivery, and service.
* Implement Verizon policies, advising stakeholders and less experienced staff on elevated issues.

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
* Experience in Contract Management or strategic sourcing, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training within a large multinational organization.
Preferred qualifications include a law degree (LLB, JD), supply chain experience, negotiation skills with complex agreements and significant budgets, strong communication skills, and relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, PMP, Lean Six Sigma).
Additional Details
