Senior Survey Data Processor (Point Cloud / Geospatial)
We are seeking an experienced Survey Data Processor to join our growing geospatial team in a primarily office-based production role.
This position is suited to a skilled professional who can confidently extract accurate survey deliverables from point cloud, UAV and survey datasets — and who can contribute immediately to live projects. We are looking for someone with strong practical experience who can produce efficiently, work independently, and deliver high-quality outputs without unnecessary supervision.
Please note: This is a permanent in-house position. We are not seeking subcontractors, freelancers, agencies, or external data processing services.
About the Role
Office-based geospatial data processing and CAD production
Extraction of deliverables from laser scanning, mobile mapping (including NavVis), UAV and traditional survey datasets
Production-focused role with established workflows and clear deliverables
Work closely with field survey teams to ensure smooth capture-to-delivery processes
Fast-paced environment working across varied and technically interesting survey projects.
Key Responsibilities
Extraction of floor plans, elevations and sections from point cloud datasets
Topographic detail extraction from point clouds and UAV survey data
Processing and interpretation of large geospatial datasets
Production of accurate survey drawings and deliverables in AutoCAD
Maintaining high accuracy standards while working efficiently to deadlines
Quality checking and preparation of outputs prior to client delivery.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as a geospatial survey data processor (not entry-level)
Strong scan-to-CAD / point cloud extraction experience
Ability to produce efficiently and independently within a production environment
Advanced AutoCAD skills for survey deliverables
Experience with industry-standard processing software (Trimble, Leica, Faro, Bentley or equivalent)
Strong understanding of survey workflows, accuracy and deliverable standards
Practical, solution-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
