As part of our continued growth and digital transformation, we are recruiting a Records Manager to standardise and enhance our approach to records management across all UPMC Ireland sites. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract initially. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure effective records management aligned with legal, regulatory, and organisational standards.Design and lead the implementation of a retention schedule across UPMC Ireland, ensuring consistency and compliance.Actively contribute to a digital transformation project, supporting the transition to modern records management systems. Collaborate with stakeholders across all sites, ensuring local requirements are understood, subject matter experts are engaged, and standardisation is achieved through shared input. Provide expert advice and guidance on records management issues, acting as the primary point of contact for related queries. This role does not include line management responsibilities.Travel to other UPMC Ireland sites will be required. Qualifications & Experience:A degree or professional qualification in records management, information governance, knowledge and information management, archiving or data governance. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a relevant role; experience in a healthcare environment is an advantage. Demonstrated ability to influence decision-making through sound reasoning and evidence-based recommendations.Strong ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and contexts.Proven ability to build rapport quickly through clear, respectful interactions.Exceptional attention to detail and ability to produce well-structured, clear written documentation.
