Job Description A fantastic opportunity to join the team at Dunboyne Castle Hotel Spa as an Assistant Spa Manager .
About Dunboyne Castle Hotel Spa Dunboyne Castle Hotel Spa is a luxury estate, nestled in 21 acres of lush green Meath countryside.
The Georgian mansion which welcomes visitors today was originally built in ****, on the same site as the original castle.
Dunboyne Castle was acquired by Mr. Thomas Röggla in December ****.
The hotel joined his collection of luxury Irish hotels forming the TMR Hotel Collection, including Farnham Estate Spa Golf Resort, Harvey's Point, Mount Wolseley Aghadoe Heights.

Responsibilities Financial/Commercial To support the Spa Manager in liaising with Senior Management on forecasts, stock levels, requisitions, budget, and targets.
To ensure the treatment schedule meets the demand of the guest while maximizing revenue.
To assist in achieving agreed commercial targets through the implementation of treatment and activity programmes.
Assist in planning an annual calendar of events and promotions.
Help motivate and drive sales to meet realistic and achievable targets.
Development Revenue Optimisation Labour Control : Assist in ensuring maximum revenue through effective diary management and monitoring labour cost controls.
KPI Monitoring : Regularly monitor KPIs to identify trends and help implement corrective actions.
Campaign Support : Assist in designing and implementing creative campaigns and mid-week offers to drive bookings.
Cross-Department Collaboration : Work with departments like Food Beverage and Events to create integrated guest packages.
Team Development : Support the professional growth of spa staff through training in upselling and customer service excellence.
Spa Retail Sales/Stock Promote and sell Spa services to maximize sales potential.
Regularly monitor retail sales for staff members and provide necessary motivation or training.
Maintain effective stock control, including rotation, inventory, and placing orders to par levels.
Monitor the cost of products and ensure correct usage by therapists.
Administer goods, requisitions, and inventories in a cost-effective manner.
Administrative/Operational Maintain and implement the reporting procedures and control systems established by the Hotel.
Ensure Health and Safety Policy and Procedures are implemented, particularly regarding hygiene.
Own and resolve guest opportunities, ensuring appropriate follow-up and recording of details.
Assist in the orientation of new staff and ensure training is carried out to ESPA standards.
Ensure the facility is adequately manned and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Responsible for Opening/Closing Procedures when on duty.
Deputize for the Spa Manager and take management responsibility within the Spa as required.
Employee Engagement Motivate and encourage the team to maintain professional standards.
Assist in managing spa department rotas in line with operational demands.
Support the organization of weekly schedules, attendance sheets, and holiday arrangements.
Help conduct performance appraisals and professional staff assessments.
Actively drive employee engagement through regular communication and recognition.
About The Role Requirements Excellent level of written and spoken English.
Previous supervisory or management experience within a spa environment.
Qualified therapist with a strong background in spa operations.
Computer literate with experience in computerized scheduling systems.
People management experience within a multi-cultural environment.
Ability to assist in managing budgets and operating P L. Impeccable personal presentation and a positive, friendly personality.
Genuine interest in holistic treatments and skincare.
Strong ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Health Safety Responsibilities Fulfil obligations under the Health Safety at Work Act and related legislation.
Ensure the health and safety of yourself, colleagues, and guests.
Observe all safety rules, including those in the Health Safety Statement.
Participate in and promote fire and accident safety drills.
