Software Development Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our development group, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the core productization and data persistence features for our new on-premise product.
You will be responsible for adapting the existing Python/Django codebase to run efficiently within a customer's cluster and ensuring that the new Postgre SQL-centric data model is robust and performant.
This position requires strong development skills paired with a solid understanding of database optimization and cloud-native deployment using Kubernetes/Open Shift tooling. You must be able to tackle complex technical challenges and deliver reliable, high-quality code necessary to launch this new product offering.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and optimize the data access layer within the Python/Django application, ensuring maximum performance with the on-prem Postgre SQL database;
* Develop, test, and maintain deployment artifacts for the product, primarily focusing on Helm charts or Operator components for provisioning management application stack OpenShift/Kubernetes;
