Ayrton Group have a requirement for a Junior Health and Safety Advisor in the Cork region, working with our client a leading building technologies and energy solutions company.This position will involve visiting various pharmaceutical sites within the Cork region.6 month contract (possibility of extension)Competitive salaryVehicle includedKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure compliance with all current legislation, including codes of practice and relevant standards. Assist in the maintenance of the company legal register.Review and implement Health & Safety management procedures.Review and implement client Health & Safety standards & procedures.Review and implement Construction Health and Safety Plans.Arrange, prepare, and carry out site inductions.Update and maintain all records associated with the Health & Safety management system.Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.Review and comment on Subcontractor's RAMS.Provide monthly HSQE report.Arrange, co-ordinate, and minute site Health and Safety meetings and capture action plans.Support the investigation of accidents and dangerous occurrences, maintaining proper records and complying with and reporting to relevant bodies.Key Qualifications:Recognised qualification in Health and Safety, or similar.1+ year experience within the Health & Safety construction industry.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative.Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.You must be legally permitted to live and work in Ireland.
