Brice Metals, a member of the Southern Steel Group, is a leader in steel distribution and processing throughout South Australia. We have an exciting opportunity for an External Sales Representative to join our team in the Cavan office. This role focuses on managing existing accounts and growing new business in South Australia. Reporting to the Sales Manager and Business Manager, the role draws on your sales skills and experience in building relationships with customers, converting prospects, and delivering outstanding sales results.
Responsibilities
* Calling on existing customers and strengthening relationships with them;
* Building and pursuing new business and developing new markets within the region;
* Liaising closely with our internal estimators and production divisions to ensure excellence in customer service;
* To ensure outstanding customer service levels and expectations are met at all times
* Providing and updating sales forecasts.
* Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders to build profitable new business and increase sales performance.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Minimum 3-5 years proven track record of sales success and business development within a broad range of markets.
* Sales and Account management experience.
* Outstanding relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
* The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with previous experience in sales and a strong technical background in steel and steel processing. Excellent communication skills and a results-driven mindset. Being a great relationship builder and a team player will ensure success.
