Water Network Improvements Role
About the Role
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to work on a programme of work delivering new and upgrading water network improvements in the north east of Ireland. You will be responsible for supervising and managing projects across Meath, Westmeath, Longford, and Louth.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in onsite supervision, site engineering of civil engineering works, including water projects. A degree in a related discipline, such as civil engineering, is essential.
Responsibilities
* Working with regional contractors to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with contracts and legislation.
* Liaising with local authorities to deliver projects.
* Carrying out health and safety audits and managing health and safety issues.
* Processing work orders.
* Approving service requests.
* Updating trackers.
* Reviewing and approving drawings.
* Working with design engineers to provide clarity on project delivery.
* Dealing with complaints.
* Providing feedback to leads and other stakeholders.
* Attending and managing meetings with contractors and design engineers.
* Maintaining records.
* Creatingsnags lists and signing off when complete.
Requirements
* A current and valid SafePass card is essential, confined spaces training would be desirable.
* Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and regulations.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Able to act within a team at all times.
