Automation Technician – 4 Cycle Shift

Automation Technician

Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment, robotics, and control systems.
* Diagnose and resolve faults across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise equipment reliability.
* Assist with commissioning, integrating, and validating new automation systems—including programming adjustments and configuration.
* Support engineering and production teams during new product introductions and ongoing process improvements.
* Ensure all equipment meets safety, quality, and environmental standards, including ISO 13485 and ISO 14001.
Requirements
* Qualification in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related engineering discipline (minimum Level 6).
* 2+ years' experience working with automated systems in a manufacturing environment (injection moulding or medical device experience is an advantage).
* Strong knowledge of PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens), robotics, sensors, and vision systems.
* Solid understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
* Willingness to work a
4-cycle shift
pattern.
