Accounts Payable Administrator (12 month contract) – Dublin

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced finance professional to support the Accounts Payable function within the Corporate Accounting, Reporting & Analysis team at CRH Group Procurement Services.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and issue customer account statements monthly
* Create Purchase Orders (PO’s) and Sales Orders (SO’s) in O365 Dynamics
* Set up and maintain supplier and customer accounts in O365 Dynamics
* Match supplier invoices to corresponding purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Generate and issue intercompany recharge invoices in an accurate and timely manner
* Manage bi‑weekly payment runs
* Responsible for bank reconciliations
* Oversee the GPSL team mailbox, liaising effectively with internal departments, suppliers, customers and cost centre owners to ensure prompt resolution or escalation of queries
* Support compliance with SOX controls and reporting requirements
* Facilitate and provide support for global contracts across categories such as IT Telecom, Mobile Equipment and Solid Fuels
* Perform monthly reconciliation for global contracts
* Support the month‑end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
* Prepare quarterly travel reports to support expenditure tracking and analysis
* Provide support during audit process
* Perform ad‑hoc duties as required
Key Functional Competencies
* Collaborative approach to working with a finance team and across departments
* Demonstrated ability to execute under pressure whilst meeting deadlines
* Experience working in a PLC or large corporate environment
* Exposure to multi‑currency transactions or international supplier payments
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Comfortable adapting to new systems, processes and regulatory changes
Education / Experience
* 2–3 years of similar experience in an accounts payable or similar function
* Relevant certifications will be considered as an advantage (eg IATI, ACCA, CIMA) or a qualification being pursued
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
* Knowledge of Irish tax regulations, including VAT, VIES and RTD
* Proficiency in financial software eg MS Dynamics and MS Office, particularly Excel

* Fluent in English; any additional language (Spanish, German or French) is an advantage
