Job Title: Specialist Oncology Care Coordinator
Deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of hospital services as a skilled oncology professional.
* Key responsibilities include delivering rapid assessment and expert management of cancer-related emergencies, managing oncological crises within 24 hours, and coordinating care between multidisciplinary teams, primary care, and other healthcare professionals across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
* Able to provide psychological and emotional support to patients and families, including counselling as required, and train healthcare staff on recognising and managing acute oncological emergencies following UKONS training programme guidelines.
* The successful candidate will require strong clinical, professional, and administrative capability, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes and contributing to the growth of the hospital's oncology services.
