The primary role of this position is to assist the Chief Financial Officer in overseeing all financial aspects of hotel operations.
Main responsibilities include reviewing costs, implementing cost-saving measures, collaborating closely with other departments to ensure Heads of Departments understand departmental Key Performance Indicators, and preparing weekly revenue and payroll forecasts.
This individual will also be responsible for managing income audits, payrolls, debtors, creditors, forecasting, and ensuring that all journals are processed and reviewed.
To succeed in this role, the applicant must hold a university degree in accounting or finance, possess at least 5-10 years of experience as an accountant in a hotel setting, demonstrate excellent Excel skills, and possess advanced knowledge of Hospitality Systems; Opera Cloud, Simphony, Procure Wizard, Alkimii.
