Responsibilities

1. Financial Management: The Fiscal Director will be responsible for managing L'Arche's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. They will ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, and reports are presented to stakeholders in a timely manner.

2. Accounting and Audit: The incumbent will oversee the preparation of annual audit files, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

3. Cash Flow Management: The Fiscal Director will closely monitor cash flow, manage bank accounts, and perform regular reconciliations to prevent financial discrepancies.

4. Financial Controls: They will establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard L'Arche's assets and minimize financial risks.

Requirements

* Professional Qualification: A professional accountancy or bookkeeping qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is essential.

* Experience: At least 3 years of experience in accounting within a not-for-profit or commercial organization, maintaining strong financial controls.

* Skills: Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office, high ICT literacy, and ability to apply technology effectively.

* Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
