VHA are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team on a part time basis.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, and be able to work independently using their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain accurate financial records
Upload and maintain accurate data on companies PMS system
Ensure accurate documentation is in place on all files
Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling payments, and resolving discrepancies
Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure precise transaction recording
Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Collaborate with other team members to support financial decision-making
Processing payroll
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper
Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Sage, QuickBooks
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Work and Outlook
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
Strong organisational and communication skills required
Must be a team player with the ability to work autonomously
