Electronics Control Specialist
The Electronics Control Specialist is responsible for developing, designing, and evaluating controls and vision aspects of equipment and/or processes in a high volume, fully automated manufacturing environment.
This role involves process development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production processes and equipment in the assigned manufacturing area.
* Develop novel and innovative approaches to control and vision systems.
* Manage projects related to product and equipment development, ensuring design for manufacture and test input.
* Liaise with R&D teams as required, providing expertise on component and assembly development projects.
* Support operations by optimising existing processes to meet engineering work orders and production goals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Becoming the subject matter expert for assigned processes.
* Driving process improvements through Lean/Six Sigma and project management techniques.
* Collaborating with internal groups and external vendors to identify problem areas/opportunities.
* Collecting data to drive structured problem-solving with technician and engineering groups.
* Assisting with Quality Non-conformances, Customer Complaints, and CAPA investigations.
* Creating learning opportunities for Associates to participate in team building, brainstorming, and project planning sessions.
* Liaising with external equipment manufacturers/suppliers.
* Maintaining compliance with the Business Quality Policy.
* Adhering to current health, safety, and environmental best practices.
* Performing risk assessments for all work activities.
