Job Opportunity: Mechanical Engineering Leadership
This role is suitable for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer who has led large-scale projects with significant budgets. The candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing innovative design solutions for new projects, utilizing expertise in mechanical engineering and project management.
* Leading technical and safety reviews, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
* Designing building services engineering solutions, including the preparation of AFDs, P&IDs, and equipment sizing calculations.
* Managing teams and overseeing the execution of project life cycles, including resource planning, progress measurement, and estimating requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (Level 8) is required, along with significant experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or chemical industry. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, including coaching and developing future leaders. Experience with utilities, including steam, LPHW, and CHW, is also essential.
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and provide guidance to junior engineers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are required for this role.
