About the Company:
A successful Manufacturing company based in County Wexford are currently on the lookout for a Mechanical Design Engineer who has a good knowledge and experience within the industry.
This is a great opportunity to join the companies growing engineering team and further develop your knowledge and skills within manufacturing.
Duties Include:
* To develop and maintain mechanical design drawings using CAD Software packages.
* Ability to determine the operational requirements and be able to propose solutions.
* Make sure that all design work is completed and to acceptable standards and confirmed with senior manager.
* Produce mechanical designs from concept to production drawings in line with customer needs and business objectives
* To complete all relevant documentation to the highest of standards and ensure it is accurate.
* Communicate effectively with the manufacturing team to ensure that all projects are running smoothly and effectively.
* Ensure all health and safety requirements are took into consideration throughout the design process.
Skills and Experience Required:
* 3+ years’ experience or Degree Equivalent in Manufacturing Design Engineering.
* A good understanding of core concepts from, hydraulics and mechanical systems.
* Understanding and knowledge of 3D CAD and Solidworks.
* Excellent Verbal and Non-Verbal communication.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
