Lead Architect Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Architect to deliver innovative IT solutions and exceptional support.
This senior-level individual contributor will partner with agile teams to bring solution architecture skills to assist in the design and delivery of various initiatives to support business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently at a high level.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand business and technology problems or opportunities by working with partners.
* Provide guidance on technology obsolescence, component re-use and platform modernisation.
* Design, document and communicate solution designs that accommodate Agile Principles and provide resilience for changing requirements.
* Incorporate reuse, standardisation and security-by-design into solution designs to simplify, secure and accelerate technology delivery.
* Be innovative in design thinking and use expertise to influence technology roadmap.
* Take architectural designs through onboarding processes to ensure they meet standards and conventions.
* Participate in architecture reviews as part of Architecture Assurance process.
* Support implementation of architectural designs - from infrastructure setup through to delivery - as necessary.
* Empower development teams to deliver architectural designs with a light touch approach.
