Business Development Officer, Mortgage Lending
Join Workers Credit Union as the Business Development Officer for Mortgage Lending in Littleton, MA. This hybrid role focuses on expanding the credit union’s mortgage services through strategic marketing, community engagement, and partnership development.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive mortgage growth.
* Establish strategic partnerships to increase visibility and engagement within the community.
* Represent the credit union at public events such as Chamber of Commerce gatherings, open houses, and industry functions.
* Build and maintain relationships with local real estate professionals, including brokers and affiliate organizations.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover growth opportunities.
* Drive contact growth for the Mortgage Sales Team and support loan volume increases.
* Create and implement outreach strategies to meet or exceed performance goals.
* Track and report progress toward goals, providing regular updates to management.
* Manage mortgage marketing activities to ensure consistent messaging aligned with overall marketing strategies.
* Develop and execute department-wide and individual sales marketing campaigns.
* Support onboarding of new originators and address inquiries related to marketing and campaign activities.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Lending, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and regulatory adherence.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of three years’ experience in business development and community engagement.
* Familiarity with mortgage products, lending processes, and regulatory compliance.
* Must be registered with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and maintain active status.
