We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Support Supervisor to join our team on an initial contract in Sligo.
Responsibilities:
* Ensuring Compliance
* Understanding Regulations and business processes required to maintain Laboratory Data Integrity.
* Coaching and providing guidance to analysts working in the assigned cell or team, ensuring they perform to the best of their ability.
* Improving Efficiency
* Ensuring agreed compliance timelines are met, identifying recovery paths when required, and bringing test schedules back into alignment with plant requirements.
* IDentifying Weaknesses
* Resolving analytical OOS issues and/or deviations as they arise in a timely manner.
* Acting as Designee
* Maintaining 6S excellence across the Laboratory.
* Executing Projects
* Developing and changing in-house laboratory procedures as appropriate.
* Contributing to Departmental Programs
Ideal Background:
A relevant Science discipline degree.
Minimum 4 years analytical experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
A proven track record in an analytical role.
Expertise in HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, Automatic titration, and Identification techniques.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Proficient in using analytical equipment in the QC lab.
Involvement in product transfers/method transfer experience preferred.
