The ideal candidate will have experience of leading the fundraising function and team, with a proven track record of managing the high value fundraising cycle, specifically corporates, major donors and trusts and foundations.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage the overall strategy for generating unrestricted income, setting and achieving income targets across all fundraising channels, and developing effective strategies to maximise returns.
* Lead and manage a high-performing team, providing coaching and support to achieve exceptional results that deliver agreed outcomes.
* Prepare in-depth progress reports for key stakeholders, including senior management, fundraising committees and boards of directors.
Corporate Partnerships
Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate partnerships programme, creating opportunities for long-term strategic collaborations and engagement.
Community Fundraising
Collaborate with community fundraisers to plan, communicate and deliver a range of Community Fundraising initiatives, fostering strong relationships with supporters and volunteers.
Individual Giving
Support the development and implementation of an Individual Giving Programme, focusing on donor stewardship and retention.
Trusts and Foundations
Manage a portfolio of Trust and Foundation prospects and donors, building and maintaining lasting partnerships through targeted research, outreach and engagement.
