Position: Senior Manager, Tax (Financial Services)
Location: Ireland (PwC Ireland)
Role Focus: Alternative Asset Management industry clients within our Financial Services Tax team.
Responsibilities
Manage your own challenging, evolving, and varied client portfolio, including existing client engagements, winning and developing new work, and participating in a range of consultancy and tax planning projects.
Discuss potential innovative projects with clients linked to economic, business and technical realities to help them grow in the market.
Keep abreast of OECD and EU tax developments and bring them to clients in a meaningful way.
Expand your professional network and manage client relationships to identify business opportunities with innovative companies.
Actively train and coach junior staff, promoting a learning culture.
Bring business knowledge, innovation and insight to create value for clients and the firm.
Embrace digital evolution in our business and at clients; drive adoption of new technologies.
Operate and collaborate effectively with a mindset that transcends geographic and cultural boundaries.

Qualifications
At least 7–8 years experience in tax consulting.
AITI/CTA qualified with a strong academic record.
Commercial awareness and ability to develop business opportunities for growth.
Strong relationship‑management skills; ability to adapt behaviour to build diverse relationships.
Creativity – develop new ideas and propose innovative solutions.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Enthusiastic team player and manager with a passion to coach and encourage others.
Leadership – strong commitment and experience developing yourself, your team, clients and business.

Our experienced Financial Services Tax team of 160 professionals, led by 12 partners, specialises in the dynamic and diverse world of Financial Services. We work across Asset & Wealth Management, Aviation Finance, Core Corporate Group and FinTech.
We deliver tax compliance and advisory services to leading domestic and multinational financial institutions, working closely with Irish Revenue, the Department of Finance and industry bodies.
