Big 4 Trained: ACA-qualified with post-training experience (ideally 3-5 years post-qualification experience).
An exceptional performer: A self-starter with ambition and a proven track record of excelling in dynamic environments.
An extremely ambitious candidate with aspirations to become a Finance Director of a CAD150m+ business within 18 months.

Role and responsibilities:
The role will report to the Group FD and will have the following responsibilities
Lead the financial operations for the Toronto office, ensuring robust month-end processes and financial reporting.
Oversee procurement, contract management, and operational efficiencies beyond traditional financial roles.
Collaborate closely with the General Manager in the Toronto office to drive strategic initiatives.
Support and guide a team of 8-9 in the Toronto office, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Carrying out analysis of costs and understanding any deviations from budget
Dealing directly and indirectly with customers and senior company management
Completing a variety of financial analysis & modelling as required
Play a critical role in the company's growth trajectory, including future opportunities in markets like the US, Sydney, and Asia.
