Description
What are the minimum requirements for the role?
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably in Business Studies, Financial Services, or similar.
* Strong Microsoft Excel skills are an advantage.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will serve as an integral team member responsible for data quality issues across funds, liaising with fund administrators, custodians, market data providers, and internal Technology and Operations Teams. This department acts as a hub for all of Carne’s internal and external data flows and plays a pivotal role in optimizing how Carne interacts with its clients and service partners.
Responsibilities
* Identify potential areas for automation within the Group’s data flows.
* Ensure daily SLAs are met with required quality standards.
* Ingest third-party data into our data lake and warehouse, working with different vendors and services.
* Collaborate with vendor partners to understand, document data sets, lineage, and flows.
* Monitor data pipelines and communicate issues to stakeholders.
* Work closely with business partners and developers to document and agree on requirements for various initiatives.
* Communicate with data and valuation vendors, brokers, and requestors to obtain asset information.
* Maintain documentation of processes and changes in line with organizational and audit standards.

* Understanding of asset management or fund accounting is advantageous.
