Permanent Hybrid: 2 days on site in Waterford Key Responsibilities Plan, define, execute, and analyse performance testing strategies Design and implement performance testing scripts and tools Identify and resolve application performance bottlenecks Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CDD) Collaborate with DevOps and Development teams to tune applications Support triage of production performance issues Mentor and guide junior team members Key requirements 6+ years of experience in Performance Engineering (minimum 3 in a senior role) Strong expertise with LoadRunner (JMeter or NeoLoad a plus) Hands-on experience with APM tools - Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Broadcom DXI, etc. Strong troubleshooting across Java applications, databases (MSSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB), and JavaScript-based front ends Familiarity with Linux/UNIX, Windows, and cloud (AWS) environments Experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines Solid scripting in Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go Desirable skills Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, or OTEL Experience in containerised or serverless environments Exposure to Agile development practices Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving performance issues Strong communicator with mentoring experience Comfortable working both independently and within distributed teams Skills: performance engineer testing performance test load runner loadrunner Benefits: Work From Home
