Job Description
The Project Manager will be part of a team delivering projects across the Change Healthcare product portfolio.
This includes but is not limited to Radiology, Cardiology, Workflow, Business Intelligence, technology refreshes, and custom projects based on specific customer requirements.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with standard working hours from Monday to Friday.
Careers with Optum offer flexible work arrangements, and individuals who live and work in the Republic of Ireland will have the opportunity to split their monthly work hours between our Ireland Offices and telecommuting from a home-based office in a hybrid work model.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Lead and implement Customer projects from initiation through to closure.
2. Scope, plan, and delivery of projects to agreed timelines, quality, and budget.
3. Ability to scope, lead and implement technical infrastructure projects.
4. Ability to work with product management and software development teams.
5. Management of project / program stakeholders both internal and customer facing.
6. Create and manage project initiation documents, project plans, defining scope, deliverables, budgets, timelines & milestones, and other documentation as required by the project.
7. Ensure change management processes are followed to ensure delivery within budget and maximize revenue opportunities.
8. Define project resource needs and work with management to ensure resource availability.
9. Accountable for forecasting projects and associated revenue profile over time.
10. Ensure adequate, robust governance is put in place at all levels.
11. Create accurate and effective Management Information on the delivery status.
12. Proactively manage risks and issues through accurate and timely identification, mitigation, and closure.
13. Assignment and effective management of tasks to completion.
14. Ability to manage competing objectives and prioritize tasks.
15. Support Sales team with tender responses and other Sales activities as required.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a Computer Science or Information Technology discipline.
* Project management experience.
* Experience working with cross functional teams across geographies.
* Proficiency with Smartsheets, MS Project, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio), SharePoint, Jira, Confluence.
* Experience in implementing Radiology / Cardiology systems from a vendor to public sector organisation (HSE/NHS).
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience delivering into a healthcare environment.
* Experience delivering into HSE / NHS or other public sector organisations.
* Understanding of clinical environments and healthcare operations.
* Experience of using Smartsheets in a project delivery environment.
* Agile delivery experience.
