HR Executive
Carr Golf has been owned and run by the Carr family for more than 35 years. In that time we have become a leader in a wide range of golf services including golf course management and maintenance, international golf travel and distinctive events throughout the year. We have 198 employees across multiple sites in Ireland and the UK.
We are now recruiting a full-time HR Executive to join our team in Park West Business Park on a hybrid working model with two days at home and three days in the office. You will be joining a supportive and friendly team that works closely together.
Role Responsibilities
Recruitment
* Posting vacancies on our HR system BambooHR
* Screening CVs for line managers and arranging interviews online and in person
* Liaising with recruitment agencies when needed
* Managing onboarding including reference checks, issuing starter information and contracts, setting up new employees on our systems and sending details to the relevant accountant for payroll
* Ordering IT equipment and preparing workspaces for new starters
* Welcoming new starters on their first day, supporting their initial settling in and completing one-month check-ins
* Keeping HR files and records up to date and requesting outstanding documentation
* Sending reminders to managers about probation meetings
HR administration
* Handling day-to-day staff queries and providing general HR support
* Visiting venues to check in with staff
* Ordering stationery for head office and venues
* Updating part-time employees' holiday balances on BambooHR each month after payroll
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation
* Collecting and analysing data for quarterly reports to identify trends that support informed decision making
* Creating and distributing the quarterly staff newsletter to all employees across the group
* Providing ongoing support to the HR Manager and completing any additional ad hoc tasks
Requirements
* Degree in Human Resources and at least one year of experience
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a confident phone manner
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow up tasks promptly
* Well organised with the ability to work independently and use initiative
* Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and social media platforms with confidence in preparing presentations and reports
* Experience using HRIS and ATS
* Experience using Canva is an advantage
