Job opportunity for MV Protection & Testing Electrical Engineer based in Dublin.
About the Role
Responsibilities for the role will be to work closely with site deployments of projects, bringing projects to successful switch in, and ongoing maintenance of those same projects.
This will include conducting technical assessments, generating & preparing reports, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project milestones are achieved.
This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise relating to the electrical engineering and construction/industrial sectors.
Responsibilities
Project Management.
Analyse supplier information for alignment with design specifications.
Generate, review and understand schematics, GA plans and project specifications.
Design reviews, validate equipment and systems.
Complete technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers and trackers.
Analysis of all design documentation and identification of any scope gaps.
Site test and sign off of delivered equipment.
Protection and control test design and execution.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Required Skills
Electrical trade background would be advantageous.
Proficiency with Omicron protection testing hardware and software.
Familiarity with current and historic protection relays from a number of manufacturers, and protection system design capability.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Revit/3d Modelling would be advantageous.
